Title: What would happen if?

Ok, so I had an idea for a thread. Lets ask hypothetical D&D situations, and see people's opionions on the results of them

What would happen if you flesh-to-stoned a vampire's victim durring the blood draining process?

We going for the serious or silly answer here? =)

Serious, would probably save the victim's life, if they survive the stone-to-flesh to follow. Vamps have to blood-drain a victim down to levels drained = total HD before they can turn them, and they can't drain a petrified statue. On the other hand, now you have an angry and hungry vampire aimed at you instead.

Also if you're really lucky and/or your DM is a comedy fan, the vamp's fangs might get stuck in the stone and they'll have to go mist-form to get loose.

Would that by definition make this a 'food fight'?
