It was meant to bring misery and suffering to the people of Arabel, pushing them into the slums to fund slum building operations and keep the gangs and crime lords in business.

Long time ago my Doomguide had Cleric/Hospitalier/Purge the Undead or something like that as her class. This bug is amusing. I am still wondering how it works.
