Title: Questions about Mystic Theurge
Post by: Plot Lost on Jan 17, 2024, 10:22 AM
I am looking to create a character that is a Cleric/Wizard/Mystic Theurge.

But how do the epic levels of Mystic Theurge actually work? For example, if my character is a Cleric 5/Wizard 5/Mystic Theurge 20, will this character of mine have 20 caster levels in both spell books, or would those be at 25 caster levels respectively? Moreover, would such a character have access to 8th or 9th level spells? This is a question of whether a level of Epic Mystic Theurge increases the caster progression and caster levels in one class at a time, or if you get steady tick of increase in caster levels and/or in caster level progression.

And I believe you can only take your 11th level of Mystic Theurge at level 21, yes?

I guess that is all.

Without practices spellcaster for each class, you will have 25 caster levels for each. With practiced spellcaster your CL will be 29. And yes, you will get access to all lvl 9 spells on both lists eventually.

Ah, thank you! Then the implementation of it is much better than in PnP!
