Some of us out there couldn't draw a stick figure if our lives depended on it. Fortunately there are kind souls out there who grace such with awesome art for free, for payment, or for other services rendered (*cough*). I didn't see a general purpose thread so here is one for those who want one.
I will start with my own character. I've been fortunate enough to receive a few pieces of art of my main going all the way back to MD. Most of them have been done by FaeFae. This first one is from GC between 2006.
And here is her most recent image as of last week. Her art has gone from good to amazing.
Finally chibis, because who doesn't like those? One from Anetra, the other from FaeFae. Anetra's was.. oddly Asian.

Your art is amazing and this is the greatest compliment I have ever - or could ever - receive on one of my characters. You know how much we adore you even without this amazing talent of yours, but to see you capture our characters so incredibly well just catches me right in the feels. An amazing piece as always. I really love the detail you put into Jared's tattoos, they are really quite something. Velenya's scales are also quite fantastic, as is the contract between them and her face.

There is no meaning associated with this one! I sketched because I wished to draw Bacon being adorable, and then I drew a Jared because, hey, I draw Jareds. I asked Remmy what he should wear even though Remmy had no idea what I was doodling and that's why he's in a suit. That's how it works sometimes.

Haha! Thank you so much. In his suit, he is quite a bit more trim but still muscular - the armor padded him out a bit due to the layers. I really feel like editing it so he's standing on the points of his toes now ... or maybe give him little tiny feet, with smurf socks? He /is/ wearing an excessive amount of blue. :3

I am blown away from the comments! Thank you! I took some requests the other day for practice, and I am working on those right now. Once I've finished those I'd be open again for the possibility of doing more. It's all learning for me and trying different things!
Thank you too, Dreamer. I use Manga Studio for the lines and Painter for the colors, with some touch-ups in Photoshop. My photoshop version isn't so recent so I started dabbling in others and have found it to my liking. I do draw on a tablet.

What - you've seen the first post, right? This is not-so-discreetly a Jared thread. I didn't make it - I just started posting here! So, here is a Jared. It isn't perfect... mphhhh... I might color it sometime later. I know I keep typing that but color is one of the Prime Evils.
Velenya's armor is actually from a really awesome Edge and Bella quest - it's made of Behir (southern blue-scaled monster thing) ... it blends a bit with her scales as is, so color would bring it out some. But it is blue, and Jared only wears blue, so this is a disaster waiting to happen. Oof! I also kinda gave up on drawing weapons. Maybe I should practice those too...
Anyhow! I am presently sketching Dais (half-done, I'd say?) and after that there will be a Tisha and a Xavier or a Neasa. They're practice pieces so I might mess around with how they're done.

Here was my own attempt at picking up a pencil and drawing Jaylithel. This was shortly after he screwed things up with Analyth and was a mopey elf.
And speaking of Rykka.... my attempt at drawing her face.. head came out a bit to sharp and pointy to the chin, but I liked how the eyes came out.

There have been a few people who lamented to me about missing the last call to be in the practice queue (very kind of them!), so I am posting here that I will make the next announcement on January 15th in the shoutbox, and that the first three who PM me with interest will have a spot in my abuse of their characters. Unless I receive a commission, I will aim to get one practice piece done a month.
The next practice theme (this one appears to have come up as full-body lines!), is going to be Couples. I would like to work on character interaction. You may also request for a Duo, or a Team, or a Rivalry - not something necessarily romantic. If you're interested in a spot on the day I've the queue open, please keep that in mind. I will need consent from both players to be depicted - no Tweak x Craig unbidden. That pairing isn't canon!

So this was done by FaeFae last year but unfinished due to her tablet up and dying on her. I did manage to save the unfinished preview image she sent me though (which is still damned awesome enough to be considered a finished product in its own right!), so I think it's about time that got to see the light of day. =) Here it is! Fairly typical day for Kendaku.
