Title: Gem Dragons

Just quickly,

Do we have Gem Dragon variants on this server for Half-Dragons and Dragon Disciples?

Thanks,

At this time we do not, though some can be sort of faked.

If the dragon's breath weapon and immunity are the same as any currently-supported dragon, you can just take one of those and alter your wings/appearance appropriately. Unfortunately, the only type of gem dragon that uses an element that is supported is the Obsidian Dragon, who is fire-attuned, so if you wanted to go that route you could just take the Red or Gold feat and give yourself black wings.

The other dragons use unsupported elements - sonic, force, light, wind. The ones attuned to sonic (sapphire) or force (amethyst), we can give you the immunity by adding Sonic or Magical immunity to your skin when you hit level 10 of DD or on creation for a Half-Dragon, but we can't do anything with your breath weapon. The Light-attuned dragons (crystal and prismatic) could theoretically be done the same, by just giving individual spell immunity to all spells with the [Light] descriptor, but again we couldn't really do the breath weapon.

As a quick note.  We will not be allowing anything with Magical Damage immunity or resistance, as we use that damage type for a number of scripted effects (Like bleeding out).

Amethyst might be right out then, or might be doable by giving immunity to specific force-damage-based spells (MM, IGMS and ILMS, etc.) in place of immunity to the damage type.

So, if just for flavour... yes/no?

You could do them, yes. We'd have to haggle some things on your skin based on which species you chose, but most of them could be at least fudged, especially if you're not too worried about getting your breath weapon.

Half-emerald, yes.  Can't do the breath weapon.

For Dragon Disciple would one need to apply specially for Gem Dragon or not?

All you'd need to do is have the breath weapon, dragon type, and immunity to fire feats removed when you get them, and have the appropriate immunities added to your skin at level 10. Otherwise you're fine.

So, yes, I suppose an application would be needed (or at least approved biography)... if only for clarification of WHICH gem dragon you are.  :)

I have logs of you roleplaying with Dragonball people on AOL. Just know there's no escape.

Though, as I recall, if you're trying to use this against me, was not your character the first to go Super Saiyin?
