Title: Neverwinter on a tablet?
Post by: Goat on Jun 18, 2017, 11:59 AM
So I've heard of a handful of people running Neverwinter on a tablet instead of a PC.  Anyone have any experience with this?  How would I make it work and what sort of tablet is needed?  Going out of town for work several times over the next few weeks and I don't wanna haul a computer around and the city I'm having to go to has nothing to do, so exploring a few options!

I'd recommend a used Microsoft Surface Pro - one of the older generations. You'll want something that has a keyboard with it by some means, and the bigger screen is less squinting. Linux or Windows OS is required as there is no Android NWN compatibility.

It's a bit of a pain in the butt and if you already own a laptop and a phone, you're best just bringing your laptop instead of purchasing a tablet. Upgrading to a lighter laptop could be an option because NWN runs on nearly potato specs.

Have you considered a laptop backpack?
