That depends on what came before this problem. What's your situation with the CD key? I'm not really in-tune with what's going on, did you get a new CD key from GOG?

I got a torrented version of NWN and it came with a key, someone else may be having issues with getting a key to work because I'm on CD using the same one. I had no idea they were in short supply.

Yeah... a torrented CD key is probably going to cause problems.

Torrenting copies of NWN isn't unusual even for people who bought the game. I was playing off a torrented copy for a while because I lost one of my original game CDs and couldn't justify the price on GoG, as I did not work. Then I got a job. And later found the CD. Now I have both an original CD copy and the lovely GoG version.
Definitely recommend the GoG version though. They'll give you CD keys if you ask!
