I'm glad you're responding we'll to treatment, Jazz. I, like the rest of us, am cheering you on!

A few things of late have been wearing me down, either slowly or all at once. I've decided it would be prudent for me to step back from CD for a little bit to let myself detox and settle a bit. I don't know how long or how completely I'll be stepping back - I expect to still be popping on here and there. Just less often. I will also continue to attend events I'm already scheduled for.

To be clear - I'm fine, life is fine, health is fine, family is fine. This is purely a sanity check move. I don't want anyone to notice my lower activity and become concerned.

For the record, I would benefit by the "per week" cap over the daily cap since I log in at most 3 days a week during the school year.  So watch your tone and attitude when addressing others.

We're not going to implement the weekly XP cap per the reasons in the prior thread.  Thank you.

General shout out to all the folks who turned up at the Dancing Duchess last night and managed to keep Ingrid busy during her stint subbing in behind the counter. It was a surprisingly enjoyably enjoyable little evening of colorful characters all around. From the elf who thinks she's a dwarf to Thayne falling spellbound to Wolfgang's cooking.

Since you have decided at this time to make this public, then I will respond publicly further:

Nowhere, at any time, do we guarantee an application would be approved.  We base our approval process expecting a level of maturity and cooperation that shows that you can handle the consequences of playing the character concept you applied for.  Fey'ri have a very specific set of lore, and are on the list of possible to permakill if found out publicly.  Given your overtly hostile reaction to every ruling that admins and DMs have given, you have not shown a responsible level of maturity that would lend us to believe that you would handle the negative outcomes of your roleplay.  This thread is proof of that, as you single out a DM who gave you a reminder about the Discord rules and you then attacked personally regarding said reminder.  This is not bias.  This is the consequence of your own actions.

Secondly, the DM staff is allowed to provide feedback on applications.  However, decisions regarding applications are done by the Admin team as a whole.  We reached the decision on this application by consensus--meaning all four admins agreed regarding the decision and reasoning.  If you wish to discuss the matter further, you may respond via PMs to any of us (Fire Wraith, Vincent07, Edge, and/or myself).

And while I'm here, I'd just like to say thank you to everyone on this server. I've played NWN for a very long time, mostly on one specific PW, and I thought it was the best thing out there. Joining a new server is difficult and I'd never actually managed it before. But you are all so friendly and welcoming. It feels like home already. So thanks and I look forward to RP'ing with more of you in the future!
