Dragon Disciple is such a good class that we are likely to consider a nerf before we consider a buff. The epic levels are somewhat underwhelming, yes, but if we were to buff them it would likely involve dispersing some of the class' current power budget into epics rather than suddenly making one of the best classes in the game even better.

Sorry, I know that's not what you want to hear, but no other class gives the sheer amount it gives for 10 levels.

/setportrait <filename> minus the trailing letter and extension, so

Yes - if you're just starting out it may be easier to just remake, and then use the Archiver NPC in the OOC/AFK room to remove the old version.

For more established PCs, you can submit a relevel or rebuild request, and then ping the DMs on discord in the Support channel.

Would I lose my items and exp if I just remake?  If there is a way, I'd like to keep her instead of deleting.

Is there a standard Item Request Form we can access for DMs and submit at the end of long quest lines?

Usually the DM will send you the preferred form if you're eligible for one from the plot, when it comes time to request items. I know I've had several variations throughout my DMing tenure because I wanted to ask different questions in different plots.

If you haven't gotten one for a plot you're in and are waiting on it, ask the DM to make sure you weren't forgotten and items are being handed out!

Mystic Theurge now has Knowledge Nature, as of the most recent update.

This prompts a further question from little old me. Should the Mystic Theurge skill requirements changed from "Skills: Knowledge (Arcana) 6, Knowledge (Religion) 6, Spellcraft 9" into "Skills: Knowledge (Arcana) 6, Knowledge (Religion or Nature) 6, Spellcraft 9"? Mechanically speaking it should not be an issue to get 6 ranks in Knowledge (Religion) from the levels of Wizard/Sorcerer/Bard, but if Mystic Theurge gets the skill, it kind makes sense for the skill investment to also work as a qualification for the PRC.

That's been discussed a lot, but if I recall correctly NWN doesn't allow for "or" when it comes to skill prerequisites, so we just defaulted to religion rather than requiring both (since druids are inherently religious in FR and get knowledge religion as a class skill here according to the wiki, but clerics don't get knowledge nature.)

It is a shame I cannot get a wand of Silence with longer duration, but at least a wand of Greater Missile Storm could help you play a blaster caster. Thanks for the information!

We have custom code that allows you to create metamagicked wands, so if you want a wand of silence with longer duration I'd suggesting making an extended wand of silence. You could also get an empowered missile storm wand for more blasting.

Timestop only freezes the area you're in.

Epic spells are exempt, and dispels will still affect your friends. Otherwise I believe it makes almost every spell safe.

Yeah, there's not much of a way around having to be careful with placement. Mastery of Shaping helps though!

As for the other issue, we poked around it a bit and it seems like it's a CD specific issue so we're looking at fixing it. Don't have a timetable on that, but we are looking into it.

For offensive AoE spells, you should be able to target them on the ground, in which case they will fire centered there.

As far as I know, blade barrier and wall of fire both started having that problem with an EE patch and there's no way of reorienting them. Believe me, I've tried. 

If you mean Improved Two Weapon Fighting, it only requires 15 dex. Greater two weapon fighting is not a feat in nwn to my knowledge.

Hey, everyone.

I've been doing some thinking the past few days and after a lot of thought I'm going to have to dial my time on the server far back from what it currently is. I still intend on being around for events, both to run and to participate in them, but otherwise I need to spend time away from the game. This is partially from burnout, partially from other priorities.

Here's what that absence will look like:

Player-side:
I will be almost entirely event only. You might see Derek around on weekends, Erzikai maybe, but neither has been a huge amount of fun lately. If you want either of them, send me a PM! I don't mind scheduling time to play, I just can't do the idle in the square thing.

DM-side:

I don't intend on cancelling any of the personal plots I have planned, so those will continue as normal, with an occasional ad-hoc or two. Unforgiven will wrap up tomorrow and I'll start working on the personal plots in January. I'll try to do a bit of administrative work in the evenings once or twice a week, but the every night a week scheduling I've been doing for the past 3 weeks is burning me out a lot more than I thought it would. My DM activity will be least affected by this change.
