Alright, wanted to give it a couple days for visibility!

Here's my plan so far, if any of this changes interest of anyone, no hard feelings <3

The Guildhall will be located within a Lodge located in Thunderstone (yet to be built, likely once the town itself is rebuilt). Access to the Lodge itself is public. The entrance to the Hunter's Guild will be within the Lodge, but only accessible by the rangers of the Guildhall.

Rules:
-All rangers are welcome unless they commit crimes against nature, including but not limited to; overhunting, acts against conservation, actively destroying or poisoning the wilderness. Proof of doing so will get you removed from the guild and the local druids advised and authorities informed.
-While religious discourse of a civil nature is allowed so long as all parties involved are desiring to do so, arguments thereof are not allowed within the Guildhall. Take it outside and hash it out elsewhere.
-It is acceptable to show off and discuss trophies of previous hunts. HOWEVER, sentient trophies of any kind are NOT to be shown off within the guild. This does include monstrous races such as goblins and orcs, but also unicorns, fey, etc.

My alt-char, Ome-Ocelome Devonsmith, would love this. She's currently Ranger 9. She's a malarite.

Presently working on an exotic app for a new Ranger of my own, since I no longer have Aedan. But I always like this sort of thing and would definitely be interested! I've definitely missed more of the ranger RP and all that. Haha!

So long as they have ranger levels they're welcome!

I find this to be highly restrictive and a bit meta.

How does one prove they have ranger levels IC?

Saccharine is a Fae - would the rangers bar a fae from entering and wishing to commune with life?

Fain is a priestesses but her goddess is Eilistraee a strong ranger goddess in a sense, and by being a priestess of her she is inherently ranger like -but I can't mechanically take levels and be viable.

It just seems strange to limit a IC group based off something that is purely OOC.

I'm sorry you feel that way, it's not my intention to be restrictive in any malicious way, but my interest and desire in this idea is to have it be nearly exactly like the canon ranger guildhalls mentioned in Magic of Faerun, as I posted the pictures of. It's something I've wished to put together for over a year now, to give some love to a class I adore the thematic vibe of. As far as being restrictive or meta, it's not much different than the factions and player groups that are specific to a deity, those who worship a different deity are not in those groups.

As Probot said, classes are an IC thing to a degree. Additionally, there are ways to prove the class, like trackless step.
And as Edge said, it's not going to be a nature faction.

Again, while restrictive I do not mean it in any malicious way or to make people feel left out, just....not all things are meant to include everyone.

Because it's a class and skillet based organization, not one set by an ethos.

It's not a nature faction so fey doesn't mean Instant access or even a desired affilition.

Fain is a priestess, not a ranger, so she lacks the proper skillset.

Not every group is open to every concept. It's okay to limit group interest.

I don't have a location set just yet! But thus far I'm leaning towards either in Thunderstone or off in a forest

Classes are an IC thing to a degree, and while some concepts may share overlap (see: a Cleric of Silvanus, a High Forest Druid, and a Wood Elf Ranger), they are still distinct things both mechanically and in-universe. Note in the write up shown in OP that ranger guild halls will ally themselves with druid groves, but still keep their distinct practices. For another example of similar but distinct entities, Paladin orders and the larger clergy of their respective deities. While opening it up enough so that players may get involved to some degree (like the Starlight Grove, for example) is certainly a good thing, it's important to maintain and reinforce where possible the unique fantasy and niche of specific concepts, in this case Rangers. As one more example off the top of my head, membership in the Violet Flame requires that you have Wizard or Sorcerer levels, despite being called more generically a mage guild.
