Upir:

I wanted to extend a personal thank you for your teamwork, friendship, and all of the groundwork that you did for those of us who came to C&D after you. You put a lot of energy into enriching the Yûlash scene for so many of players here. When you next get the itch to jump online, you are always welcome!

Take care of yourself, and take care of what's important. If or when you get the itch to play again, we'll be here. And if you don't... that's okay too.

Completely understandable with regards to the IRL stuff, and if you ever feel like returning, you'll always be welcome here.

Take care of yourself first and foremost!! Hopefully catch you every now and then. When life gives you lemons, you through them back at her face, hold her in a chokehold and squeeze them lemons into her eyes, seize the day!!   And worry not, w'll be around either on Discord or in game, so feel free to drop by whenever, try new goals after you've grounded yourself some more and decide to play a little bit to relax.

Keep being the cool person you are.

There simply are no words I can say that will be well received by most that read them.

Valian/Upir. I am grateful for you showing us the doorway to CD. I am not sure where I would be if you did not.

My Discord is open as you work through this next phase of life. Let me know if you need anything.

This is a little bit sad... my first experience in Yulash after surfacing was seeing Puszek make veiled threats at Upir, and the Banite who shaved with a ruler was such a permanent fixture of the town. I particularly appreciated the way he brought into fashion giving little jobs to newbies for sums that helped a lot while being pocket money for high-level characters - it both helped estabilish the Banites as an actual power in Yulash and was a fun interaction generator.

As for the unfortunate end to your attempt... I think it was a mostly doomed effort from the start because the mayor sees the temple of Bane as an extended hand of Zhentil keep, which is a direct threat to his power. So, don't beat yourself up, there are very, very few talented diplomats who would have gotten anything more out of him in your situation.

Finally, I'm sad to hear about the way your personal life has turned and very much hope it turns for the better!

Here's hoping things blow over and you'll come back to us when you feel ready!

General Discussion / Upir disapearance
Last post by trekker - May 08, 2026, 01:41 PM
I wanted to write something for the people that followed upir this far in this game as i am not playing as often as i used to be. This is message is not a critic or anything its a mixture of feedback and explanation for my friends who i will miss very much.

Main reason i am not playing as often is personal. I just passed by a marriage ending and i need to recompose my life. And that takes time and the time i decided to use was the time i used to make playing.

The secondary reason is...i lost the point of playing. Just after i created upir and started walking on Yulash displaying Bane's symbols i felt the need to explain my reasons on rp and i created him a mission. A mission that i felt was reasonable for a priest to have, to make a church of bane in a city in the moonsea. TO me at the time it was an achievable goal and not that big. Playing here i discovered for some reason that goal was a big no no.

8 months later and 20 lvls raised, Upir felt the conclusion of his mission on a meeting with the mayor. After 8 months working to make a relation with the mayor, trying my best to be supportive to him, i finally received a message that he would at least listen my character. I wrote my best speech, gave him option not to give me the church within that speech, approved the speech with my peers and did my best to rp my character. And upir's lifelong mission was finished with a punch.

And to a banite a failure the way it was should be answered with either death or banishment. I feel no way to rp otherwise even though my superiors did the best to give me a new mission, basically taking me to underdark...a kind of banishment in a sense.

I would do my best in this banishment were not my personal reasons which are too strong. Cant start it over right now.

Nothing i said is a critic to anyone. DMs rped the best they could and they must have reasons for the mayor's actions...fact i dont understand them dont make them wrong.

I had a ton of fun playing here. I am glad the work of bane in yulash is not over as Rose, Olivia and many other banites i cant name cause its secret (but you know who you are and you are great) will continue in my absence. I will still pop up and play from times to times...at lvl 20 i can do much of the stuff i need anyway. But i really wont be online as much as i used to and i wanted to give a why here. I will miss everybody my character interacted. And I am glad i leave Yulash bigger in rp than it was when i arrived.

I have a house i sugest you give ownership of it to Vunak or another banite. It was a great work from Ianira and i would hate it to go to waste.

Thank you all for the rp.

Admin Announcements / Re: Transparency - Player Bans
Last post by Nokteronoth - May 07, 2026, 02:25 PM
Blackula "Half-Centaur" has been banned from the server. When asked not to be harassing other players in public, he threw a fit. I will quote here. He said "Eat my cuck dickfuck", whatever that means, and I/we felt that was appropriate to deliver the ban. Considering he then went onto the Discord to rant something about employed Mexican gentlemen and call everyone 'cunts', additionally banned from there.

Have a great day folks.

Very nice to hear and read! - and welcome!

Yes, the forums are quieter than forums used to be back in the days. Silence here does not mean no interest. Most of the fast action is on discord. I highly encourage you to join it.

The forums are still beautiful for the tales, and background, and stories they host: the keeping of record and tales, character backgrounds, IG tales, etc. You'd search here if interested in a certain character or event.

Discord is more rapid paced interaction.
