Background:
Christelle considers herself incredibly blessed, and attempts to share what she can with others. She and her sibling were born within Suzail. Raised in a loving home to be confident, and educated to subjects of her heart's desire, Christelle learned philosophy, healing, and to a lesser extent, illustration and herbalism. She is an artist at heart, creating fantastical imaginings with brush and pens.

With her parents' good wishes, she pursued tutelage within the church of Sune – difficult on the best of days due to the church's informality. Nevertheless, she garnered admission within the church, and began her instruction, learning to perform musically with several instruments, as well as learning the art of weaponry, building off of the motions learned from her art and music – the pen finding a balance with the (figurative) sword. Her training led her across Cormyr and to Arabel's church of Sune.

She continues encouraging creativity and self-confidence where she finds others, beseeching others to test their limits, share what they create, and delight in gifts from others. She takes the dogma of Sune very seriously, particularly practicing that true beauty comes from within, with actions or deeds, spurning the idea that traditionally 'ugly' beings are to be disparaged or pitied. Most of her time is spent aiding those who have diseases, the poor, the beleaguered. She tends to prostitutes and courtesans the same she would any other, and indeed, seeks them out within slums, offering healing and aid, curing diseases and administering poultices and tinctures.

As well, she stays at the Church of Sune, tending to the various flowers and creating something of beauty each day, giving them as offerings to the church and to her patron. Her duties to her goddess tend towards creating art, devoting herself to the philosophy of love, defending the innocent, protecting art, and easing broken hearts and minds. She also happily works as a mediator in cases where potential conflict can be prevented before it blossoms.

Miscellaneous:
  • She will never strike the first blow in combat, unless it is the only way to protect the innocent. She is not a martial practitioner by any stretch, and tends to avoid combat when possible.
  • She will never destroy a work of art, and will not allow one to come to harm, no matter its worth. The only way she will allow it will be to save a life (for what is more beautiful than a living soul?).
  • She will never use her beauty as a weapon.
  • She struggles with her music, being particularly unskilled with her instruments, and carefully practices each day to try and become better.
  • Her goal is to make life richer for those who may come after her.
