Regarding Forum Posts and Explicit Content

It has been brought to our attention that in recent times there have been a few posts in character biographies, roleplay posts, and/or stories that have  been more explicit or uncensored than people were expecting to find on the forums. The admins, for obvious reasons, do not read every roleplay post and biography writeup that goes on the forum - there's too many active players and we don't have the time to do so. As such, we appreciate when people bring these things to our attention. We wish to take this time to reply to this situation.

We ask that posts on the forums maintain the same level of public visibility limitations as in-game activity of the same nature. Explicit events such as sexual encounters, torture or other forms of descriptive violence/gore, and other triggering or NSFW content should not be posted on the forums - when in doubt, if the content would be kept behind closed doors in-game, it shouldn't be posted on the forums.

This is twofold. One, the forums should be a safe place for people to browse and read without having to worry about stumbling into something inappropriate or untoward unexpectedly. And two, and the reason why we can't just leave the rule at one and say "mark your NSFW threads", is that we do not wish to conflict with ProBoard's TOS regarding certain kinds of content and risk the deletion of this community.

We will be contacting people if we find such content in your threads and asking you to edit them to remove the offending material; if this request is not followed within a few days, we will edit it ourselves. Thank you for your cooperation.
