Hey everyone,

So as you may notice from the Admin Announcements, we had to block/ban a longtime player. One thing we try very much to avoid is keeping people in the dark about this stuff, and while we try not to make a habit of rubbing people's noses in stuff, we do think that you, the rest of the players, deserve straightforward explanations for the stuff we do. We also prefer to avoid having rumors spread about stuff like that.

The best way I can sum it up is that when someone gets to the point that they hate us, hate the server community, and pretty much spend a portion of their time while logged in stirring shit up - or at least strongly give us that impression - then, well, we're eventually going to get to the point that we decide they're not welcome anymore.  Note that this takes a certain amount of effort to achieve, as we're quite tolerant even of people who, for whatever reason, aren't fond of us or our choices.

This has nothing to do with any disagreements in general or specific. You are absolutely free to voice your opinion, and we welcome it, even if you think we're a bunch of damn fools for the decisions we make. What we do ask, though, is for a modicum of politeness and respect - and if we make a decision, we're doing so for a reason. If you think all of our decisions are bad, and that we run this place horribly, and that you'd do a ton of things differently... er, well, go do so, is my suggestion. Being bitter about it really isn't going to do anyone any good.
