We don't have any plans currently for implementing a banking or item storage system at this time. Aside from the length of development needed for correctly implementing banking that'd take away from other projects, there are technical hurdles in creating such systems for making them both safe from item loss errors and free from item/gold duping exploits that make creating these systems challenging if not done right the first time.

If you want to store clothing appearances you can do so with the /outfit system.

If you want to carry lots of items, we have various weight reduction containers.

If you want to safeguard your gold, invest in gems or other popular trade items. This isn't necessarily recommended though as gold loss on death is reasonably capped and gold is relatively easy to make in little time for most characters.
