Swapping ranger feat - possible?

So my ranger build includes archery, and not a single melee weapon to speak of. Is it possible, or requestable, to trade out Dual Wield/Improved Dual Wield for Rapid Shot as a Leto request, on the premise of making an archery style ranger, per 3.5e? I know none of the other archery path feats exist in NWN or CD, but I'd trade the two for one.
