It's one of those you love it or hate it ideas, but how about placing up signs around the server with level based signs?

Just ways to let players know if they are headed somewhere far above their level and or in areas suitable for them. Just a thought.

Edge

Its an idea thats been considered before, but the general consensus is that it's a tad too immersion breaking.

We do have the dungeon list available, and a general rule of thumb is the further you are from Arabel, the higher level content you'll see.
Kestal | Eden | Azalaïs "Edge" | Bernadette | Tonya | Lenora | Vaszayne | Koravia | Alastriona | Piritya | Rauvaliir | Natascha | Emari | Urilias-Zhjaeve | Tatya | Dioufn | Aida | Cyrillia | Megan | etc.
DM Tiamat | Szuriel | Maedhbh | Cassilda

ah that's good to know, thank you.

The really high level stuff is also level locked (or should be) so you shouldn't wander in way too low of a level for it.

Nibbles

Perhaps signs could be posted that give more vague ideas, give adventurers 'ranks' based on level, or performance? So if you know you can do level range X to Y then you're a Wyrmling, or whatever. Then it could at least be plausible that signs may be posted to warn of danger for all below whatever rank?

To some degree it's why we left the relative Challenge Rating on examine in. But maybe what we could do, is simply color-code the area names of the various dungeons to associate with the overall level band they're in.
