Fire Wraith

So this has been said a few times before in various places, but it seems to need repeating at times, so I'm going to post it here for future reference.

The staff - by which I mean the Admins - are definitely concerned with issues of harrassment, stalking, and other such things.

But that said, we're not here to play arbiters of high-school level interpersonal drama. We're not here to make sure everyone likes you, or to come down on people who don't like you. Not everyone will like everyone else, and that's perfectly expected. We also expect that everyone who plays on CD is an Adult (see the minimum age requirements) and to act like one. This means that if you have a problem with something someone says, does, or whatnot, we expect you to be an adult and talk to them about it, resolving it amongst yourselves so that we don't have to. We only have so much time and patience for issues, and taking care of things that we don't need to be involved in falls on this level. We're also not going to step in and shield you from the consequences of things you did ICly, so long as those consequences are also IC and reasonable.

And while we want everyone to feel comfortable playing here, that sort of thing extends to stuff like slurs, personal insults, attacks, and the like - It's not something to be thrown out because of difficulties of basic interactions with other people.

Now, if you make a reasonable effort to resolve something with other players, and they aren't willing to meet you partway on things, then by all means, let us know. We may not step in actively, but we can at least keep an eye on things if someone's being rampantly antisocial, and so on.
"We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing." -George Bernard Shaw

"So long as you harbor love for this world, ever shall there be a place for you in it. Your adventures will never end."
