Logarti! - *could probably keep rambling here forever but doesn't want to spoil everything*

-He is less truly chaotic then he seems at times. Most of what he does is based off something he has learned to do or not do ICly.
-He very much was born on Toril and gets nervous about planar traveling. It embarrasses him that he knows very little about it and gets scared... which embarrasses him more. He learns slowly which adds to the fear he will just die doing something ignorant on one.
-He isn't overly fond of sugary things, but adores honey. It was exceptionally rare for him to have and one of the few things he doesn't over think when he has it.
-The only make up he wears is on his toes. Gold lacquered on. Any other make up, particularly lipstick alarms him.
-His attraction to deals doesn't fully come from his tainted blood, or he would make better ones! (I hope)
-He does stupid things brilliantly. Wisdom isn't his strength.
-He was going blind for a long time. Its why he had light up so often and identified people by their clothing. It was something that greatly panicked him and he thought was divine punishment which only made it worse.
-Doesn't do well in locked places without an escape.
-Highly respects and values faith, even the ones he disagrees with.
-Tends to calm down when he is warmer. Cold makes him (more) cranky or guarded.
-When he learns he tries to revaluate and it changes him. He is ever changing for better or worse.
-Studies the work of Congenio Ioun and collects Ioun stones and gets excited seeing them. He fantasizes someday he will be able to make one. He wants to find a meteor for it.
-When he gets addicted to something it hits hard and takes a lot to not slip (sedatives, plane of radiance, blood..)
-Works to let things go, the mountains of clothes he amasses, trinkets, perceived slights, anger, shame. (always encumbered or factually out of room in his bag. I keep trying to clear it... some!)
-Tries to not wear red overly often because he thinks it gives people the idea he is up to dark things, and doesn't wear red robes ever.
-Tries not to get intimidated by far more knowledgeable wizards, which is most of them. He is a bit ashamed at his lack of knowing what many do, but pushes on.
-He is superstitious! Knows he shouldn't be but super is.
-If he is not in his form he is generally in the one of a dragon. When super startled he used to turn into a pixie.
-Chances are if a question passes through his mind he might just ask it. (I'm so sorry)
-Tastes a lot of things. Rocks, blood, plants,... eye sockets and pissed off potentially living weapons...
-He -DOES- feel shame I swear! Just.. not on most socially expected things.
-Fears the gods taking notice of him more then the exceptionally few times he has asked, and still fears it.
-Does actually keep covered outside Stonehaven, and to a lesser extent the square in Arabel. He makes mistakes when he is drunk or really pissed off and posturing to the world, but tries to not be like that often.
-Thinks snakes are neat. Likes how they manage without limbs. Dragonflies are his insect of choice.
-Advocates going at least one day a month without using magic and does so himself. But varies the day like the paranoid person he is.
-Got in a cat fight with an actual cat, and lost. It won by getting tangled in his hair.. and pulling some out.
-Will charge in first to bleed a dragon for his spells, still is more terrified of his father.
-OOC: I made a character I wanted to see how learning from adventurers/life would turn out. I blame you all <3

Jarlyn-

-Younger then he seems! Though age/life is catching up with him. Adventuring messes you up.
-Spends a long time making clothes for people, thinking of them while he works. It is relaxing to him.
-Gets zero joy from killing. Its all just a job to him.
-Peppermint is his favorite scent in a way.
-Has a Jillian based rainbow dress. Recruited someone to work for the Flame while wearing it. No he does not like to wear dresses. He doesn't trust women in them either.
... resigned from the Flame once in a rainbow suit. O_o He has odd fun.
-Has started to wood carve tiny animals.
-Wears far too tight clothes to feel if someone is trying to stick something on him to scry. More people probably know the shape of his backside then his face.
-Almost stole Lala when she was a baby but returned her when he realized he couldn't feed her.
-He enjoys the sound of music. Well played and it can distract him almost fully.
-Adores Mirabell's brand of humor. Keeps him on his toes but he can relate. She brings out his playful side effortlessly. For as stunted as that side is.
-Sugar isn't his friend. The cake at the Lyre messes him up good. Gets twitchy and impulsive and very restless.
-After living hard for so long he is starting to let go and slip up. It will probably be the death of him if depression/physical problems don't get him first... or Deldur. I think Beshaba won his coin toss for life.
-Steals hair... a lot.
-Was trained to obey and protect. Coming to Arabel tossed him into a weird situation that fostered that behavior over years into obsession.
... doesn't have a compulsion to shut doors I swear! He just does a lot. Almost always. ._.'
-OOC: When I made him he was going to be colorblind and wearing yellow. Decided not to go that way and turned it instead to his favorite color!

Voice of Kerensky

Some generally harmless stuff!

Jae:

-Her surname, O Cathasaigh, is ye olden equivalent of "O'Casey" -- and when in doubt, should generally be pronounced as such.
-Wears her hair up because she doesn't typically liking dealing with how curly it is.
-Wears war paint to battle under her helm, applying it as she prays.
-Is actually a pretty decent seamstress.
-Is my oldest currently active character, having been played over two FR servers and derived from a paladin character with the same name on a server before that.
-Is something of a tribute to my lovely woman, her curly redheadishness, her Irishness, and her vast knowledge of Celtic history that occasionally shines through.
-Is significantly more knightly than she used to be, and still has a tendency to lapse into being a fierce, wild, and ruthlessly cunning warrior -- don't let the fancy armor and proper clothes fool you!

Kiris'yar (Kris):

-Pretty much a walking monument to autism. She takes every social lesson and every habit I've learned to adjust and appear "normal" in the real world and chucks it out the window. She's my way of cutting loose, being more myself than the world typically allows, and doing and saying the first things that come to mind, from the overly literal to the highly absurd.
-Tends to prefer the "elven" side of her heritage, having had much more positive experiences among them than her human parentage.
-Is typically much less confused or lost than she appears to be. She just doesn't express it well.
-Loves cooking. Try her umberhulk pie!
-Once ran a fairly successful business.

modronlove

While I enjoy Savateem, he is often difficult for me to play.  I am generally pretty bad at evil characters (out of the dozens of characters I have made in various settings sav is only the third evil character I would say I have played 'successfully').  My trouble playing him is that I'll be in a group having a lot of fun.  I'll be enjoying the other players characters immensely, but all sav will feel is "they are useful". Or "they are useless".  Makes ME feel bad *laughs*

disapprovingmother

Alexandra Hohlenberg

- most of the rings on her fingers are purely decorative, but a couple actually have meaning
- despite appearances, she actually enjoys housework to some extent but she'd never admit it. It actually calms her down sometimes.
- despite the housework, she has never, ever, ever cooked a meal in her life. The thought terrifies her.
- like most Tethyrites, she considers the number five unlucky.

Some Fun Facts about Aelie!

- Only recently (Last RL month or so) learned what her last name is.  She still hasn't begun using it.
- Tends to knit when she's bored, a habit she picked up about 18 RL months ago.
- Doesn't hate drow as much as she claims to.  As long as they introduce themselves and don't try to kill her.
- Has two complete schools of magic she can't use.
- Despite her ditzy demeanor, she has a respectable Intelligence score and is surprisingly well-educated.
- Has a hyperactive metabolism.  Interestingly, a hyperactive metabolism often does make people tired!
- Is an extremely good chess/lanceboard player.
- Collects trophies of her past accomplishments.
- Surprisingly well-accomplished in non-adventure pursuits!
-- Co-owns the Red Briar Casino and Clockwork Security.
-- De facto head of the Violet Flame.
-- Has been on Arabel's Council since it was open to adventurers.
-- Friends with five noble families - Truesilver, Hardcastle, Rallyhorn, Marliir, and Preston.
-- Opened a Trade School in the Southern District for the poor and disadvantaged (that was going to be an actual area, but the file got lost).
- Has been to the Far Realm on two separate, unrelated occasions.
- Both parents were druidic shapeshifters.  Explains a lot doesn't it?
- Has met Khelben 'Blackstaff' Arunsen (who she fangirled over) and former Mage-Royal Vangerdahast (who scared her).
- Has worn the exact same cloak design since the day her character was created.
- Favorite food, apple pie!

Xavier: In addition to having been trained as a tailor before studying magic and being an excellent hand with a needle, he is extremely skilled with hairstyling thanks to his older sister frequently enlisting his help as a child.

Andrina: While studying in Waterdeep, Andi picked up an addiction to terrible romance and pulp fiction novels due to how cheaply they could be bought in large quantities. She has yet to shake this habit. Though she started out simply to make fun of the writing, she actually finds herself somewhat invested in the plotlines from time to time.

When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up. - C. S. Lewis

Lets see...

When I first got into RPing, one of the biggest pieces of advice for me was to try and model a character off of a character I already knew. That way, if I was ever confused, just think "What would they do?". In this light, Angelina was originally based off of the character Alanna from Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness Quartet, one of my favorite book series growing up.

Well, it's been a while, so...

Morghan
-Is actually afraid of the dark, or rather... is afraid of what she can't see.
-Used to be extremely over-protective of Megan, and occasionally slips back into that habit.
-Loves to sew.  She tends to sew her outfits (such as they are ;) ), make quilts, etc.  It's a pragmatic habit, and she hates to throw away cloth that could be reused.
-In NWN2, Morghan was a Favored Soul/Stormlord, rather than the Tymorn cleric she is on CD.  If played in Pathfinder, she'd be a Warpriest.
-On another server, went by the name Morrigan.

Alex
-
has a rather large family:  Nikolai (older brother, disowned), Edge (older brother, adopted), Mariya (younger sister), Andrina (younger sister, adopted)
-was training as a paladin (squire), but failed the trials
-is really gullible.  She knows this, and still has trouble telling when people are being sincere or joking (or worse).  As a result, she tends to take everything either seriously or skeptically.
-Doesn't like when people stand behind her.
-Tends to work through her problems... literally?  She thinks best when fighting, cleaning, or just generally doing something other than sitting around.
-Is embarrassed about being embarrassed.

Galen Kreiss

-
Hates his real name, Azariah Melchiott
-Despite an air of niceness and uncertainty, Galen is an excellent soldier. Under the command of Kyrasincthas he was efficient and dedicated, surviving years of war with a decorated service.
-Galen draws some of his aspects from myself, specifically bieng ex-military, overly nice and utterly terrified of women.
-I didn't really know how Galen was going to turn out. Coming back to play nwn on a multiplayer server for the first time in years, I just threw him out there as a starting-out character. After deciding on his rough story and playing him for a few weeks, I pretty much decided he'd be my main char to play, and the developments afterward such as: Meeting Lily, Draconic heritage, making more and more friends etc. have made him one of my most enjoyable characters.
-Galen actually has several iterations spanning many games/pnp's, CD being one of the more recent ones. Others include: Gale Korris, a bounty hunter in star wars pnp. Kreiss Harron an Au Ra lancer in FFXIV. Kreiss Melchiott a sniper in Valkyria Chronicles pnp. And about a dozen others.
-Now being 6'10'', he's a lanky bastard. Also he's a whole two feet taller than Lily which is hilarious.

Illix Shimmerscale

-
His stutter is not mechanical, but psychological, and can be suppressed under certain circumstances.
-Illix's chosen middle name, Fieser, is a direct reference to the inventor of napalm
-Despite his constant claims to the contrary, Illix is an exceptionally brave individual, having survived ordeals and faced odds that would break most.
-Illix again draws on some aspects from myself, the social anxieties created by previous experience, general love of technology and engineering and strong feelings about oppressive government.
-Illix is terrified of heights
-His design and combat RP revolves heavily around his inventions, namely his gauntlet capable of launching firebombs, giving electric jolts and projecting a jet of flame. His limbless crossbow, which uses a geared pump action to move internal springs and load bolts from a cartridge loaded underneath. And his longbow, which uses gears and pistons to allow a not terribly strong individual to draw a hugely powerful bow.

Orokol Bloodborne

-Orokol is very quickly getting tired of the bear puns.
-
His name is actually nothing to do with the PS4 game, awesome as it is. Orokol is a hungarian root word for "He Who Inherits", while Bloodborne means "Chosen Blood"
-His attraction and relationship with Megan still scares the hell out of him
-Is based very heavily on a friend of mine, Captain Harvey Colchester, who is unfortunately no longer with us. We all used to call Harvey "Bearbear", because he was 6'6'' and built like a tank, but one of the cuddliest, loveliest people I've ever known.
-His faith in Tyr is extreme, though he practices and percieves that faith very differently to most. He will never say he "serves" Tyr, but "walks with" or "Aids".
-Is a Werebear, and proud. Though his heritage gives him a solitary, quiet tilt, he uses it proudly in his work for Tyr.

Vruuk Hurnsar

-Hrmm.... Vruuk sees little use in this list, but will oblige.
-Vruuk finds Arabel folk to be confusing.... Am think they put something in water
-Best friend is Voli, bear Am meet as child. Voli very wise, but fat.
-Am good freinds with Tentz family, but Am think require intervention
-Hrm, Am fond of cakes from Lyre... could use one now
-... Vruuk out.

ClockworkMayhem

Whew, time to give this a try. I mean, everyone else is doing it, soooo...

Katarenna 'Mouse' Swyft

Mouse's real name is Katarenna Swyft. Only Voss, Kelendel, Tavaris, and Xavier know it - and Xavier's probably forgotten, having only heard it once. Voss is less than pleased that anyone other than himself is privy to that bit of knowledge.

She is the only living scion of a once-wealthy merchant house in Sembia - both parents are dead, though only those closest to her know the how and why.

She was once a Selunite, and it was a Selunite priest who gave her the nickname Mouse - though disillusionment with the church has led to a separation, and she now follows Lliira. Though she's not the most devout follower, she does try, to Voss' constant irritation.

From the age of four until she was 19, Mouse could not talk. She stopped when she was four, and then from lack of use, she lost the ability. In this last year, she began to regain her voice, first only able to whisper, and only with great pain, but then slowly, she was able to talk, and with Rhea's training, to sing and play several instruments. Only a handful of people know what healed her voice - it's a well-guarded secret.

Mouse spent most of her childhood and young adulthood in various states of slavery, poverty and starvation. Even now that she's matured some and has grown into slightly more elegant manners, she has a habit of hoarding food, so she can almost always be counted upon to have some food to share (if she likes you enough).

Because of her childhood issues, she rarely got sweets, so upon arriving in Arabel, she fast developed a sweet tooth and was given to the excesses of one long-deprived. Hunting with Voss for larger prey than rats, bugs, and stray dogs and cats that had sustained her in her younger days helped to curb this somewhat, but she's still rarely known to refuse chocolate.

She also hadn't owned a toy of her own since the age of 4 - so when she drew a wind-up kobold from Santa Phedra's bag at Midwinter, it was curiously significant to her - and it's now one of her three most treasured possessions.

The other two are a ring made for her by Logarti with Voss' tooth in it, and a zendalure stained with the blood of a baby blue dragon. The former was the result of a fist fight between Arti and Voss 'for fun,' but the second is a little more complicated. The stone was given to her, sans blood, by Peppyr, to whom she had given a book written about her by Tavaris in lieu of allowing him to keep her as his own pet Mouse (while Peppyr was mad for this idea and swore he could take care of her much better than his pet lizard that had the temerity to go and die for no good reason at all, to Mouse, this smacked too much of the slavery she'd worked so hard to escape, and in a panic, she gave him the book instead). A few tendays later, she was traveling with Tavaris, the man she'd come to call brother, seeking the song of a blue dragon. They rescued a baby blue, but to placate the mother's suspicions and vanity, she gave her the stone, as it was the most valuable gem she possessed. The mother gave it to the baby, and the grateful baby (whom Mouse had healed) rolled it into a puddle of its own blood and urged Mouse to keep it. (Tavaris still maintains it's gross that she won't wash it off).

She calls Tavaris her brother because he was the first person to really look more deeply at the mute orphan. He celebrated and believed in her when some simply mocked her gestures and her silence, and she'll always remember.

She also thinks of Clay as a brother, but the two of them bonded more over shared snark than anything else.

Mouse will eat bugs just to gross people out, but they're probably her least favorite thing to eat, ever. She still recalls a time when they were the only meal she could get, some nights.

Some think she should be offended when Voss calls her Rat, but she considers it an honor - because he names her after the Rashemi totem known for its penchant for surviving through endless hardship.

Sylwyn 'Roisin Dubh' Tyr'undlin

She is an Unseelie fey - a leanan sidhe to be precise - and a Lady of the Winter Court. (Currently, however, she's mortal - her essence stolen by an alternate version of her that had been tormented in Narthenera. She now appears to be quite human, though she strongly resembles the elven glamour she wore to hide her true image from crowds of mortal men and women. Aside from her bardic magic, she has lost all that makes her fey, for now, save for her peerless beauty).

She knows where she was "born," but not how - crafted by the Queen of Air and Darkness from the dust of Howler's Crag and the shattered dreams of a once-proud Velethuil artist who died of sorrow over the loss of her gifts.

She is a bard, and has an exquisite voice, but prefers to sing the works of those she's inspired rather than her own, most of the time - an homage to her suitors, past and present (and in one recent case, a past that never was).

Though like all fey she has a distaste for asking a person's name directly and will ask what someone wishes to be called sometimes, she most often prefers to grant them a nickname that she feels best suits them - and it's not always flattering (though sometimes it is).

She has a very archaic way of speaking - she doesn't seem to find this nearly so strange as those around her do, though.

Sylwyn was created out of my desire to celebrate my life-long love of all things fey. Though she is chaotic evil, this alignment was chosen to reflect her required sustenance - she feeds on the creative spark of those she inspires, making it almost a sort of psychic vampirism. She actually does, in her own way, fall in love with each and every suitor, and mourns them for awhile when and if they die as a result of their time with her. That said, I wanted to portray with her the entirely alien nature of fey to mortal beings - including a vastly differing sense of morality. Sylwyn can and has done good things, and really doesn't have any malice towards most people.

Sylwyn is only 5'2" tall in her elven glamour, but she's even shorter in her true form, and has brilliant, fiery red hair and startlingly green eyes, and butterfly wings whose color changes with the seasons or her whims.

Though Voss has only the mildest of bardic magic about him and his stories are simply retellings of those of the Rashemi people in whose culture he was raised, she is inexorably drawn to the wilder, more chaotic side of his nature - because it calls to her own. She thinks of his fighting as dancing, though he heavily disputes this.

The greatest gift she's ever given so far was a song she gave to her very first suitor that has never, ever been heard by any other mortal being. The greatest gift she's ever received (though it's taking her time to come to view it this way) is her current experiences as a human - though she hopes this is not a condition that will linger.

(It is late, so I will edit this to add in other characters, later!)
