Currently Alter Self potions cannot be created with the Brew Potion feat. Is this an intentional restriction to keep things balanced or merely due to technical/scripting difficulties?

And in the later case would it be possible to brew Alter Self potions with DM assistance if the character ruleswise would be allowed to brew it (having the spell and the feat both)?

I think there've been issues with Alter Self since the database crashed, but I might be misremembering.

It is not a valid property for potion bottles, as far as I am aware.  Changing that would require hak line edits.
