Searching for character portraits can sometimes be a time consuming and frustrating experience. Sometimes, you envision a specific set of looks for a character – but you can't find an image suitable to depict them! Or worse yet, you find a portrait... But a critical detail isn't quite right.



Well, this is why I'm opening this thread. If you'd like an artwork edited to have some details changed, here is a good place to ask. Be it changing hair/skin color, removing piercings and/or tattoos from a character... These things can be done, and given that I already have done so for a few people on CD, I figured I might as well offer this little service of mine openly.



I will take requests as time allows, though I promise nothing; some art styles are definitely harder for me to work with. Post below, or send me direct message either here on the forums or Discord. If you are a DM or Admin who needs a portrait edited for an NPC character or something like that, I would also be happy to help.




Guidelines:

No NSFW material on this thread. I won't work on artwork featuring nudity. I will not accept any forms of payment; all I'm doing is altering somebody else's hard work, and I refuse from their efforts. I encourage you all to credit the original artists, albeit while giving a NSFW warning should the artist's gallery depict nudity or gratuitous violence/gore.

Someone posted this in Discord, and I quite liked it for my Brian. Don't know the original artist, since I snapped it up. 

I don't really need any editing done (maybe smooth out the scars?), just cropped to the right portrait sizes. Let me know if you need anything else, etc.

Me again. Could I get this with red hair and a more bronzed complexion? I've also attached a screenshot of the in-game character for reference.

Demonic Angel pointed me to this thread from Discord..

I would be much appreciated if you could help out. I found two pics that sort of capture my character Simkin who is a half hin / half -fey. One is too dark with the all black outfit and dark hair... but the hair and look of the char fits Simkin's youthful and fey nature

The other looks a little too old with the scruffy stubble, but the clothing is much more in vein with what Simkin would wear.  Not sure which pic would be easier to edit. I like them both so would leave it in your hands. I would liek the hair adjusted to a light blue shade. In the case of the top picture.. if there was a way to smooth out his skin to and remove the stubble,  that would be great. For the other pic... it would likewise be the change of hair color as well as lighting up the colors of his robe. I'll ad an edit with a screen grab of Simkin from IG for reference. Thanks in advance if you choose to take on this for me.
